1. What delivery methods are there?

From Settings >> Delivery >> Delivery methods, you can choose from these various delivery methods:

-          Free delivery: Your customers will receive the products without any additional cost. It’s also possible to choose who to apply the free delivery to, creating groups of customers (for example,  VIP customers), or regions (for example: free delivery to Italy).

-          Exemption limit: The delivery is free for purchases over a limit which can be selected.

-          Shopping basket total: the delivery cost is proportional with the customer’s purchase total.

-          Weight of the products in the shopping basket: The delivery cost is proportional to the weight of the products in the customer’s shopping basket.

-          Number of products in the shopping basket: The delivery cost is proportional with the quantity of  products in the customer’s shopping basket.

2. Can I establish a delivery method based on the region or type of customer?

Yes, you can. A region is a group of one or more countries. For example the region “Mediterranean” can  include Spain, Italy and France. To create a region, go to Settings >> Country settings >> Regions, enter a  name and click on “save”.

After creating a region you can edit it, for example you can select all the countries that you would like to add and click on “Save”.

Last of all to assign the new region to one of the delivery methods, go to Settings >>

Delivery >> chosen delivery method >>General. Select the region in

“Allow usage for the following delivery addresses”.

3. Is it possible to show the delivery periods of the products?

Yes, it is possible. To do this you need to go to “Products”, select the product for which you wish to set the delivery periods and go to the “Stock and delivery period” section. Here you can enter the delivery period of the product (in days). By putting in these details, your customers will see when they will receive their purchase.
