This tool allows setting the Splash, Home, Login, User and Home directory pages.
In order to access such a management area, when logged in as an administrator, select the option “Site Settings” in the menu or click the icon . Click Advanced Settings and page management.
 
Splash Page
When a user visits the site, he is usually taken to the page named Home on the site. This setting permits the Administrator to select any existing page as a splash page which will be displayed for a short period prior to the navigation to the Home Page.
If no page is selected (‘<None Specified>’) no Splash page is set.  In this case the landing page is the Home.

 

In order to set the Splash page in Home Page, select the name for the Page from the drop down list and click Update.


Home Page

When a user visits the site he is usually taken to the page named Home. This setting permits the Administrator to override this page and select any existing page.  This procedure also modifies the page the users are taken to when they click on the logo.
If no page is selected (‘<None Specified>’) the setting will be set by default to the page named Home.

In order to set the Home Page, select the name for the Page from the drop down list and click Update.

Login Page

The site is configured with a Login page that displays the Account Login module. Administrators cannot edit this page, however an alternative Account Login page can be designed and set as the default login page. If no page is selected ( <None Specified> ) the default Login page will be enabled.

Warning: Do not apply this setting without adding an Account Login module to the selected page. If you have logged out of the site and do not have an Account login module viewable by ‘All Users’ you will not be able to log in again. If this does happen, enter your website URL into the address bar of your web browser and add Default.aspx?tabid=1&ctl=Login at the end of the URL. This will display the default login page.

In order to create e new login page in Login Page, select the new page from the drop down list and click Update.
You can now add other modules and content to the new Login page.

User Page
The site is configured with a standard User page that displays the users account details. Administrators cannot edit this page, however they can design their own User Account page which includes other modules, and then set this as the default User page.  If no page is selected (‘<None Specified>’) it will default to the provided User Account page.

Warning: Do not apply this setting without first adding a UserAccount module to the selected page.

In order to create e new User Account page in User Page, select the new page from the drop down list and click Update.

You are now able to add other modules and design elements to the new User Account page.

In order to Restore the Default User Account Page, you will need to select in User Page, ‘<None Specified >’ and click Update.
