In order to purchase a service and complete the registration of a .gov.it domain name, you need, first of all, to purchase the service that you wish to associate to the domain name from Aruba and then choose and register the domain name with the DigitPA.
More specifically, you need to:
- Go to : http://hosting.aruba.it/FullOrder/registrazione_gov_it.asp?Lang=EN
- Enter, in the provided form, the name of the domain for which you would like to purchase the service;
- Choose the main service and any additional service for your domain and complete the online order process;
-
Request the registration of the .Gov.it domain name from the Italian Public Body for the Digitization of Public Administration "Ente Nazionale Per La Digitalizzazione Della Pubblica Amministrazione" (DigitPA - public body in charge of registrations) by using the relevant forms, filling them in with the details entered when placing the order and confirmed by Aruba via email after completing the order. (Any information on how to fill in the forms must be requested directly from the DigitPA).
We remind you that, for .gov.it domain names, Aruba will only activate the services chosen for the domain, which will be activated as soon as Aruba receives your payment and will be valid for one year, regardless of the registration date of the domain name.
The assignment and registration of the name must however be requested through the Italian Public Body for the Digitization of Public Administration (DigitPA - public body in charge of registrations).
ATTENTION: the services purchased for .gov.it domain names, even if correctly activated, may not be used and/or displayed until such domain names have been registered.
