Expiration and Renewal of .es domain names

.es domain names can only be renewed one year at a time.

Around 3 months before the date of expiration Aruba will send regular notices, reminding you of the date of expiration and the renewal process, to the domain contact email addresses.

A week before the date of expiration, if the domain name has still not been renewed, the notice will also be sent to all the @domainname.es email addresses.

Once you receive the first email you can renew your domain name at hosting.aruba.it and make the relevant payment.

We remind you that the renewal process must be completed at least 15 days before the date of expiration of the domain name and that, if the payment is made in advance it will not affect the following date of expiration.

IMPORTANT!!! If, at midnight of the date of expiration, the renewal process has NOT been completed*, all the services will be suspended.

If, after the date of expiration, the domain name is still not renewed, it will be put in a Grace Period status by the Registry for 10 days from the date of expiration, after which it will be cancelled. During the Grace Period the domain name may still be renewed (for a maximum of 1 year), by following the renewal process online.

*The renewal process is considered completed once Aruba has received payment.

If you do not wish to renew the domain name, you can cancel it by simply following the relevant instructions
